Sophia has worked in medical recruitment since 2009, spending the majority of that time working closely with General Practitioners at Omega Medical. She manages locum placements for General Practitioners across Australia, with positions ranging from one day to twelve months in duration. She enjoys the challenges that come with the role, as no two days are the same when working to tight deadlines and supporting remote and rural settings. She also finds it deeply satisfying to know that her work helps Indigenous communities, remote towns, or busy practices secure much‑needed doctors.
