Abbie started her recruitment career in the UK, where she spent two years specialising in construction recruitment. Since moving to Australia, Abbie worked as a medical receptionist for two and a half years. During that time, she developed a genuine interest in the healthcare industry and enjoyed being part of an environment where the work directly impacted people’s lives. Her experience on the healthcare side gave her a better understanding of the industry and inspired her to combine that knowledge with her passion for recruitment.

What drew Abbie to recruitment was the opportunity to build genuine relationships with candidates and become someone they could trust. She enjoys getting to know people, understanding what they’re looking for, and helping connect them with opportunities that are the right fit for them. Abbie now specialises in recruiting nurses and midwives across Queensland, combining her recruitment experience with her understanding of the healthcare industry to support candidates in finding roles where they can thrive.
