What are the travel and accommodation expectations of the locum?
Typically the client will fund accommodation and travel for the locum. Omega Medical will assist with the planning and booking, if required.
What are the requirements for regulatory paper work and who manages the process?
Omega Medical will manage all paperwork for the placement on your behalf.
What are the rates for locum work?
Depending on the level of seniority and specialisation the locum is paid between $1,000 and $3,000 per day.
What checks are completed to ensure the doctors credentials?
Omega Medical conduct reference checks, working with children reports, criminal record checks, Identification verifications, internet searches for adverse media or judicial reports and AHPRA and Specialist College verifications.
