What are the travel and accommodation expectations of the locum?
Typically the client will fund all accommodation and travel for the locum. Omega Medical will assist with the planning and booking of the travel if required.
What are the requirements for regulatory paper work and who manages the process?
Omega Medical will manage all paperwork for the placement on your behalf.
What are the rates for locum work?
Depending on the level of seniority and specialisation daily rates vary between $1,000 and depends on levels better to say junior is between + senior is between.
What checks are completed to ensure the credentials of the locum?
Omega Medical conduct reference checks, working with children reports, criminal record checks, Identification verifications, internet searches for adverse media or judicial reports and AHPRA and Specialist College verifications.
